FEB-02-11 HIV Forum Executive Committee member Michael Horberg, MD, MAS, FACP, Director HIV/AIDS, Kaiser Permanente has been named Executive Director Research for the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group in MAMPG’s Rockville, MD Office.

Dr. Horberg also currently serves as Research Scientist at the Division of Research and TPMG Clinician at Kaiser Santa Clara, as Clinical Lead HIV/AIDS for the Care Management Institute Chair, as Chair of KPNC's Central Research Committee, and as Director of the HIV Interregional Initiative of Kaiser Permanente and Permanente Federation.

"Through this new opportunity, I hope to increase the collaboration between the Forum and Kaiser Permanente. With over 2100 HIV+ KP patients in the DC metropolitan area, and this renewed emphasis on research, the Forum's goals and ours align uniquely,"  commented Dr. Horberg.
